Honourable Assamese Governor Graces ICSI's 26th National Conference of Practising Company Secretaries

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Recently, at Guwahati, Assam, the 26th National Conference of Practising Company Secretaries of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) was opened by Lakshman Prasad Acharya, the Honourable Governor of Assam. Industry leaders, senior corporate professionals, and senior officials from regulatory bodies will be present at the two-day conference, which is themed Dynamic Regulatory Landscape: CS@Excelling Strategies. The honourable members of the Rajya Sabha, Bhubaneswar Kalita, and the Lok Sabha, Dilip Saikia, were also graciously present at the conference. Addressing the Company Secretaries as the backbone of the corporate ecosystem, Hon'ble Governor stated that because of their careful examination and truthful reporting, company secretaries make sure that businesses abide by the word and the spirit of the law. The work of a company secretary has never been more important, strategic, or value-adding in the ever-changing regulatory environment of today, so he is glad the conference is geared towards improving knowledge and abilities to facilitate genuine value creation. Strengthening national unity and inclusivity is the goal of the conference. It will offer a forum for crucial conversations. There will be multiple sessions with a theme. We will leverage communal knowledge in these workshops. Additionally, they will encourage professional development in the area. Secretarial Audit and Annual Secretarial Compliance Report are among the subjects covered. Other subjects include Alternative Dispute Resolution and Opportunities under the Taxation Regime. There will also be a discussion of Expanding Horizons: Leveraging Various Opportunities.
