News Desk, News Nation 360: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has inked an MoU with National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation (NSTFDC) for funding of ₹16.01 crore Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to upgrade digital infrastructure in 29 Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) across Rajasthan, benefiting over 10,000 tribal students in Classes VI to XII in 11 districts (Alwar, Banswara, Dungarpur, Udaipur), including installation of 116 smart interactive panels (four per school), 584 networked desktop computers (four-year warranty and AMC), 584 UPS, dedicated air-conditioning, LAN, printers and 290 tablets with competitive examination modules, in the presence of Ministry of Tribal Affairs Secretary Smt. Ranjana Chopra, NSTFDC CMD Shri T. Roumuan Paite, NESTS Commissioner Smt. Pratima Verma and HPCL Director (HR) Shri K. S. Shetty, in consonance with Schedule VII of the Companies Act, National Education Policy 2020 technology integration vision and Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) thematic focus area of Innovative Livelihood Enhancement to enhance first-generation digital literacy in remote tribal belts.
