News Desk, News Nation 360 : The leading hospitality company in India, Indian Properties Company (IHCL), announced that it has signed a deal with the Ambuja Neotia Group to open 15 new properties throughout its brandscape. The partnership will expand to more than 40 hotels thanks to this capital-light arrangement. The 15 newly designated development sites are located throughout the states of West Bengal, Sikkim, and Himachal Pradesh and include a mix of greenfield, brownfield, and conversion projects. This comprises a Tree of Life in Lataguri, SeleQtions hotels in Kolkata and Siliguri, and a Taj resort in Sunderban, Darjeeling, Shimla, and Rabong. Additionally, a few chosen projects will include Raichak, Lataguri, Sikkim, Darjeeling, and villas bearing the Taj name. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, IHCL, stated that this collaboration would expand IHCL's pioneering record of developing locations such as Rajasthan, Kerala, Goa, and the Andaman and Lakshadweep Islands to include unlocking the East and North East's tourism potential. Since the Ambuja Neotia Group is renowned for its opulent hospitality projects that capture the essence of this area, they are thrilled to expand their collaboration with them. There is a lot of opportunity for custom luxury travel in India's uncharted northeast. This fiscal year's addition of premium room inventory to Taj Chia Kutir in Kurseong and the impending construction of Taj-branded luxury villas in Darjeeling, Lataguri, and Gangtok are indicative of the segment's increasing demand.
