The two-day meeting deliberated on ways to strengthen healthcare through non-communicable diseases, med-tech innovation, and digital health governance, with one significant highlight being the signing of an MoU with Izawa Co. Limited, Tokyo, to launch METORI-X, a smartphone-enabled ophthalmic tool for community-based eye screening. The second

significant achievement was the virtual launch of "Healthcare Living Lab," a new innovation platform that brings together iKure, Jhpiego, and MSD for Mothers to facilitate innovation in healthcare solutions to take them from "concept to implementation." Sujay Santra, founder and CEO of iKure, highlighted during the meeting that "the future of health is community-based primary care, not hospital-based primary care." To take this momentum forward, iKure is planning to launch a learning program with an international university to put strategic thinking into action through training programs for healthcare leaders in emerging markets.
