IMTEX Forming 2026 will Take Place in Bengaluru

News Desk, News Nation 360 : IMTMA conducts “IMTEX FORMING 2026” on January 21-25, 2026, at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bengaluru. It has concurrent shows including “Tooltech” for machine tool accessories, metrology solutions, CAD CAM tools, and tooling systems. Digital Manufacturing highlights additive technology and Industry 4.0. “Weldexpo” with the Indian Institute of Welding features recent advances in welded joints. “Moldex India and Fastenex India” by Messe Stuttgart targets moulding, fasteners, and fixing technology. The concurrent shows also include “9th International Seminar on Forming Technology,” which is on Jan. 22-23. It features trends, equipment, processes, and metal technology for metal forming. “i2 Academia Square” is for research and development presentation to industry. "Jagruti-IMTMA Youth Programme" promotes awareness of advances in manufacturing technology among youth. Exhibitor segments for Germany, Italy, Japan, and Taiwan are included. Targeted visitors are automotive, aerospace, defence, medical, power, railway construction, among others. Mohini Kelkar, President - IMTMA, stated that even though metal forming presently makes up 29% of the Indian machine tool market, significant growth is anticipated in the upcoming years. Metal forming machine tool production was valued at ₹2,696 crores in FY25, while consumption was ₹9,139 crores. Overall, exports of metal forming machine tools rose by about 6% annually. Presses were the most popular exports, followed by press brakes, bending machines, and shearing machines. The five-day show offers a special opportunity to hasten the implementation of high productivity technologies and digital transformation in manufacturing.
