Innovation and Technical Excellence at KRITANJ 2026 at Nit

News Nation 360: During its flagship Tech-Management Fest, KRITANJ 2026, Narula Institute of Technology, a well-known JIS Group Educational Initiative, transformed its campus into a dynamic centre of technological innovation and innovative problem-solving. More than 5,000 students from various engineering schools in the area participated in the two-day extravaganza, which was graced by notable Guests of Honour like Bipul De (Assistant Director, MSME-Development Institute, Kolkata) and Arjun Dutta (Founder & Product Architect, IQApex Labs). Students demonstrated sophisticated technical and corporate leadership skills in specialised fields such as robotics, coding, gaming, Elektron, MechTech, civil creations, and dedicated management tracks over the course of more than 50 intensely contested competitions. IDEA STORM 2026, the festival's flagship project exhibition, attracted 34 competitive teams from esteemed universities, including Jadavpur University, the University of Calcutta, IIT Bhubaneswar, Heritage Institute of Technology, Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, JIS College of Engineering, and JIS School of Polytechnic. The exhibition highlighted 34 extremely creative, practical solutions, including 18 software-based projects, 13 hardware-software setups that are integrated, and 3 pure hardware innovations that make use of cutting-edge advancements in artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, smart systems, and sustainable computing. After a thorough review by top academics and industry professionals, team Vision X Edge from Narula Institute of Technology won first place, followed by THE VISIONARIES (Narula Institute of Technology) in second, and team Antarez from Jadavpur University in third. The director of JIS Group, Sardar Simarpreet Singh, praised the festival's success and pointed out that KRITANJ 2026 is a fantastic example of the collaborative spirit, hands-on learning, and future-ready technological design that the organisation constantly works to instil in young people.
