News Desk, News Nation 360 : To celebrate the birthday of India's valiant son Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the "Kalighat Sports Lovers Association" held the "26th Mega Blood Donation Festival" at the "Khudiram Anushilan Kendra" in Kolkata, with the participation of All India Trinamool Congress General Secretary Subrata Bakshi, Mohun Bagan Club Secretary Debashis Dutta, football players Dibyendu Biswas and Manas Bhattacharya, actress Rituparna Sengupta, and numerous other notable figures. In addition to the blood donation festival, all of the football players from the
2024–25 Santosh Trophy winning team and the "Bengal International Champion Bodybuilders" were honoured from the same event platform, Swapan Banerjee (Babun), editor of the "Kalighat Sports Lovers Association," told the media. Ganesh Vandana kicked off the Kalighat Sports Lovers Association, or KSLA, program at ten in the morning. According to information provided by "KSLA," thousands of men and women gave blood during the blood donation festival that day. At the Khudiram Anushilan Kendra, 2,225 people have freely given blood.
