SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360: With the release of its 70 lakh (7 million) cumulative farm tractors, Mahindra Farm Equipment Business (FEB), a division of the Mahindra Group and the largest tractor manufacturer in the world by volume, has reached a historic production milestone. This enormous industrial achievement comes after a stellar FY26 performance in which the conglomerate recorded annual tractor sales exceeding 5,26,000 units worldwide, supported by well-known launches like the Mahindra 585 YUVO TECH+ V1, the Mahindra NOVO Premium Edition, and the Swaraj Protek series, as well as the international expansion of its premium OJa tractor platform in over 50 international markets, with the US being its second-largest commercial footprint. Mahindra FEB has carefully built a multi-brand ecosystem since entering the agricultural machinery market in 1963. This ecosystem includes its core Mahindra Tractors, Swaraj Tractors (which is credited with creating India's first entirely indigenous tractor in 1974), and Gromax Agri Equipment (a 60:40 joint venture with the Gujarati government that produces the regional Trakstar and Hindustan lines). With plans to launch seven new tractor models and twelve cutting-edge technological features in FY27, Auto & Farm Sector Executive Director & CEO Rajesh Jejurikar and Farm Equipment President Veejay Nakra stressed that this 70 lakh benchmark represents a decades-long commitment to advancing agricultural mechanisation under India's Viksit Bharat vision, enabling operational cost-efficiency and deep trust for millions of farmers spanning the whole soil-to-harvest value chain.
