Manipal Hospitals East Hosts ‘Robotic Summit 2026’

News Nation 360: In honour of National Technology Day, Manipal Hospitals East hosted Robotic Summit 2026, solidifying its status as the largest robotic hospital network in Eastern India with over 3,000 successful surgeries carried out across more than ten specialities. The summit, which featured renowned specialists like Drs. Sushmita Mitra, Dr Kunal Sarkar, and Dr Vikash Kapoor, demonstrated how robotic-assisted technology enables improved precision, minimally invasive treatment, and quicker recovery for complicated orthopaedic, cardiac, and oncological procedures. Over 1,500 robotic knee replacements at the EM Bypass unit in just two years are noteworthy accomplishments that demonstrate a substantial change toward individualised surgery planning and better patient outcomes. In order to further advance multidisciplinary education and awareness regarding the integration of AI and machine learning in contemporary, patient-centric healthcare, the event also marked the introduction of special robotic doctor badges and the announcement of a Robotic Workshop in June 2026.
