News Desk, News Nation 360 : With the opening of its cutting-edge hospital in Kolkata, Motherhood Hospitals, India's leading network for women's and children's healthcare, today announced its historic debut into Eastern India. Over a million women and children nationwide have received care from the network. Located strategically at Rajdanga, Kasba in South Kolkata, this facility is the 25th hospital in Motherhood's rapidly expanding network across 12 cities and is poised to become a centre of excellence for specialised care, significantly enhancing medical services for women and children in Kolkata and surrounding cities. Vijayarathna Venkatraman, CEO of Motherhood Hospitals, emphasised the group's vision and stated that their debut in Kolkata is a significant event. Beyond merely establishing a hospital, we are delivering the promise of compassionate, top-notch healthcare from our South Indian heritage, specifically designed to meet the special needs of mothers and children in Eastern India. With its cutting-edge equipment and top-notch medical team, this modern facility reflects its dedication to raising the bar for clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. With additional cities to come, Kolkata is the first stop on their strategic

expansion plan for Eastern India. Motherhood Hospitals has opened its new hospital in Kolkata in a full range of services that cater to women's health and the child's development. High-risk pregnancy management, complicated gynaecological operations, and state-of-the-art fertility treatment such as IVF are provided by the hospital under advanced obstetrics. Neonatology for newborns and children, complete with a Level III NICU for critically ill neonates, and complete paediatrics are also provided. This synergistic model seeks to provide holistic lifecycle care under one roof while upholding Motherhood's empathetic and patient-focused ethos. The inauguration event included a panel discussion session "Women's Health: Fuelling India's Rise," where the panel discussed the imperative role of women's health in national economic growth, placing it both on a social priority list and as an impetus for Indian economic growth. The conversation also touched on the need for early intervention in women's reproductive health complications, the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration in caring for high-risk pregnancies and critically ill neonates, and the need for evidence-based, patient-driven care to optimise outcomes.
