SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk, News Nation 360: Narayana Health believes that trust can be developed by prioritising patient safety in all patient care activities. This trust helps to keep the organisation in good standing during times of crisis, such as during the treatment of the last two Nipah virus patients at Narayana Hospital in Barasat. The hospital is following all the necessary state and public health advisories to provide a safe environment. The emergency services have been functioning as usual during these times, and the elective surgeries have been restarted in a phased manner. The hospital is to restart all elective surgeries from January 19, 2026. The hospital is thankful to the state health authorities in West Bengal for their ever-supportive nature. A few health staff members were quarantined as a precautionary measure, and all of them have already tested negative. The health staff is quarantined as per protocol to keep the environment safe. The critical care staff works around the clock to provide healthcare to patients while collaborating with the State Health Department. The management is still dedicated to creating a comforting atmosphere for all parties. They sincerely thank the community, carers, and health authorities for their assistance during this time.
