News Desk, News Nation 360: Speaking at a special event held on National Doctors' Day by a private healthcare consortium, Professor Dr. Kalyan Chakraborty, Hon'ble Minister for Science and Technology, Biotechnology, IT and Electronics, Food Processing Industries, and Horticulture, Government of West Bengal, emphasised that "journalists should work in such a manner that even if the ruling political party changes, they do not face any difficulties." During the official unveiling and distribution of special "Press Privilege Circle Cards" to the journalists of the Press Club Kolkata, a joint venture between Nephrocare India Limited, Sampurna Woman Care and IVF Centre, and Vivacity Multispeciality Hospital to improve healthcare accessibility for media professionals, the Minister made these moving remarks. Sharing the stage during this milestone presentation were Dr Pratim Sengupta (Founder and Managing Director of Nephrocare India Limited), Dr Sutapa Sen (Founder of Sampurna Woman Care and IVF Centre), and Nitai Malakar (Secretary of Press Club Kolkata), who collectively lauded the initiative for fostering a supportive partnership between the region's medical community and frontline press personnel.
