News Desk, News Nation 360 : Recently, a souvenir titled 'Pallikavi and Court' was published at Bidhan Shishu Udyan in Kolkata. Along with this, a reception was held for eminent personalities on the founding anniversary of the 'Burdwan Sahajoddha' organization. This cultural program was organized at Bidhan Shishu Udyan under the management of the Kumud Sahitya Mela Committee of East Burdwan district. The program was attended by Justice Rabindranath Samanta, Chairperson of the West Bengal Real Estate Appellate Tribunal, Siddharth Mukherjee, General Secretary of the Rabindra Bharati Society, Dilip Kumar Biswas, Deputy Secretary of the State Youth Welfare and Sports Department, Masud Karim, lawyer of the Calcutta High Court, and others. Jyotsna Mallick, son of Pallikavi Kumudranjan Mallick, was a district and sessions judge. At the same time, the poet's grandson Sudhendranath Mallick was a judge of the Calcutta High Court, and most of the members of the Kumud Sahitya Mela Committee are associated with the legal profession. It was in such a situation that the 'Pallikavi and the Court' souvenir was presented. In her speech, literary figure Mahasweta Banerjee from the poet's family expressed her gratitude to the Kumud Sahitya Mela Committee. Samarendu Chakraborty, Sheikh Abdul Jabbar, Dilip Kumar Biswas and others were present at the poetry reading. On this day, the well-known 'Burdwan Sahajoddha' organization, which is well-known for conducting legal public awareness programs, presented the 'Purba Burdwan District Ratna Samman' to Honorable Justice Rabindranath Samanta. On behalf of the Kumud Sahitya Mela Committee, Molla Jasimuddin, Baidurya Ghoshal, Somnath Bhattacharya, and Pratima Haldar said that they paid tribute to Pallikavi by publishing this souvenir on the occasion of his 54th death anniversary.
