South Point High School Organised Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony

News Desk, News Nation 360 : An enthusiastic crowd of award recipients, parents, guardians, teachers, senior staff members, and distinguished visitors attended the Annual Award Distribution Ceremony in Kolkata. Students from South Point High School performed the school anthem and an invocation to kick off the program. Jaidev Ghosh welcomed the gathering during the Welcome address. He is the principal of South Point High School. He read about significant things from the years 2024-2025. It involved school success in academics and other activities. Several important individuals attended the Prize Distribution ceremony. Justice Kalpesh S. Jhaveri, S. K. Daga, Rupa Sanyal Bhattacharjee, Dalbir Kaur Chadda, and Jaidev Ghosh were all present. The ceremony started with the Puja Utkarsh Samman. This award was of four categories. Students from M.P. Birla Foundation School and South Point High School judged it. Three students were given the Founder's Medal. They were Aaron Potsangbam, Adrija Sen, and Swikriti Das Biswas. Each of them received a medal, a certificate, and cash. Special awards were also given. Ankur Banerjee won the M.P. Birla Special Talent Award for photography. Bhasha Bhattacharjee received the M.P. Birla Award for Co-Curricular Activities Excellence. Om Ghosh received the Priyamvada Birla Brave Hearts Award. He is a courageous boy with a heart ailment. Kalakosh Awards were awarded for seven inter-school competitions. Recipients were handed cheques as trophies had been awarded previously. All class toppers from Classes II-XII received medals. V, X, and XII toppers also received cash. AISSE toppers Satatwya Ghose and Adrika Choudhuri, and AISSCE topper Dipita Majumder, were awarded the M.P. Birla Memorial Award. They received a medal and cash. General Proficiency prizes were awarded to brilliant students. Inter-House trophies went to the champion houses. Subject prize winners had been awarded at previous events. Memorial prizes were also awarded then. There was a short and entertaining cultural programme after the awards. South Point School staged "The Symphony of Life." It was a play about a magical island. South Point High School staged "A Path Down the Silky Way." This was a play about the Silk Route and a boy on the lookout for his grandfather.
