Spell-A-Thon Olympiads Hosted Grand Finale Awards Ceremony 2026

News Desk, News Nation 360: SPELL-A-THON OLYMPIADS, an academic initiative launched in 2012 by edupreneur Janaki Venkatramani and mentored by IIM Bangalore and Chief Academic Advisor Anjana Mallick, organised its 13th Grand Finale Awards Ceremony 2026 at the National Library Auditorium in Alipore, Kolkata. Inaugurated by Chief Guest Mrs. Agnimitra Paul, Minister for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, West Bengal, the function honored the toppers among the 4500 plus candidates from 77 elite schools participating in the preliminary rounds held at Gokhale Memorial Girls' School, Kolkata, and Techno India Group Public School, Chinsurah; congratulating the young achievers as bearers of the state's proud academic tradition, Mrs. Paul exhorted them to maintain the spirit of sustained inquiry whereas Venkatramani asserted that by eliminating rote learning and employing practical vocabulary synthesis, applied grammar and analytical comprehension all in consonance with current school syllabi, the competition is instrumental in making spelling bee competitions a real brain workout for mastering the English language.
