SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk, News Nation 360 : Antique collector Sunit Shreemal recently came down to Kolkata from Mumbai, showcasing his immense interest in purchasing rare and historical artefacts from all over India. In a special interview conducted at an iconic Kolkata location with the presence of actress and model Sathi Sarkar and "Miss Kolkata" Madhabilata, Shreemal elucidated his motive. He explained that he travelled to Kolkata to personally get in touch with the people who own very old, unused antique objects like furniture, watches, jewellery, utensils, or old clothes. He reiterates that they buy these at a reasonable price, believing "Old is Gold." Shreemal also revealed the deep emotional side of his collection, pointing out that every object has a story, a past, and a memory. He emphasised that he's not purchasing items, but "a time, an emotion, a memory," and that's why he appeared rather than sending someone to represent him. Sathi Sarkar remarked that this is not just a commercial venture; it is the preservation of culture. Sunit Shreemal's initiative is truly commendable.
