SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk, News Nation 360: The Kolkata Women's Business Alliance (KWBA) successfully organised "Super Dad 2026," a special Father's Day event honouring exceptional men who, via their profound fortitude, empathy, and selfless care, redefine the contemporary parameters of fatherhood. The heartfelt event, which was attended by a distinguished guest panel that included well-known Indian writer and Indologist Nrisingha Prasad Bhaduri, renowned Bhoomi band musician Soumitra Ray, and KWBA President Soma Chakraborty (who also serves as the Co-Founder & Managing Director of Goodace Hospital and President of Gouri's Foundation), looked beyond traditional definitions of parenting to highlight devoted fathers, motivating single fathers, and caring pet fathers alike. Instead of serving as a typical awards presentation, the platform was a poignant celebration of human connection and emotional responsibility, honouring unsung heroes who successfully navigate difficult societal difficulties while juggling hard occupations and intensive caregiving. Soma Chakraborty reaffirmed the alliance's long-term commitment to honouring these varied nurturing stories that fundamentally enrich local communities and strengthen Bengal's social fabric while reflecting on the changing dynamics of parenting and emphasising that fatherhood today is beautifully reflected in every act of sacrifice and unconditional love.
