News Desk, News Nation 360 : TATA.ev, India's leading 4-wheeler EV manufacturer and the driving force behind India's EV revolution, today launched its first ten TATA.ev MegaChargers. The unveiling of these high-speed chargers, in collaboration with ChargeZone and Statiq, comes shortly after TATA.ev announced its commitment to increase e-mobility in India by more than doubling the number of available charge points to 400,000 by 2027. Elated at introducing the first 10 TATA.ev MegaCharger sites, Balaje Rajan, Chief Strategy Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., stated that at a time when EV use is rapidly increasing, widespread and dependable charging infrastructure is critical. These first ten TATA.ev MegaCharger locations in critical EV corridors around the country represent the first phase of a superfast charging network that will stretch across major roadways. To eliminate charging anxiety, the TATA.ev MegaCharger network will gradually connect all major cities in India. They are on a quest to provide quick, dependable, and simple charging that enables seamless movement across the country, and they are only getting started. TATA.ev is driving the next phase of electrification in India through its 'Open Collaboration' framework, which has not only successfully formed partnerships with various Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), but has also significantly expanded charging infrastructure across key hotspots, particularly along highways, to ensure seamless long-distance mobility. One of the framework's hallmark initiatives was the development of a TATA.ev MegaCharger network, which will provide high-speed charging and unprecedented dependability.
