News Desk, News Nation 360 : The fifth edition of Startup Carnival, a day-long thought leadership conference with the theme "Building Bengal's Next Growth Story: Startups, Policy & Culture," was successfully held by Techno India Group in partnership with Make Calcutta Relevant Again. In order to highlight West Bengal's quickly developing startup ecosystem, the event gathered together legislators, startup founders, business executives, and cultural entrepreneurs. Professor Manoshi Roy Chowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group, gave a welcome speech to kick off the event. He reiterated the institution's long-standing dedication to promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and solid industry-academia collaboration. Startup Carnival 5 examined how modern entrepreneurship, cultural economies, and progressive policy frameworks are all influencing Bengal's next stage of economic development. The forum presented Bengal as a vibrant and opportunity-rich location for innovation-led businesses through high-impact talks, knowledgeable panels, and live startup pitches. Sanjay Kumar Das gave a keynote address titled "Policy as a Partner: Leveraging Government Support in the Startup Ecosystem in West Bengal," which focused on how state-level programs and advantageous legislative frameworks help startups grow, innovate, and compete on a national and international scale. Prof. Manoshi Roy Chowdhury, Co-Chairperson, Techno India Group, stated that Bengal has long been a hub for innovation, culture, and business. We are witnessing the emergence of a robust startup ecosystem, leveraging our cultural and economic advantages with the right legislative backing and a revitalised entrepreneurial spirit. Startup Carnival 5 strengthened the idea that Bengal is not merely a legacy market but rather a future-ready growth engine propelled by innovation, creativity, and teamwork by fostering meaningful conversations between legislators, business executives, and young entrepreneurs.
