The 10th edition of the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata seeks to celebrate the #DecadeOfDifference spirit through a diverse pacer group headlined by armed forces veterans, resilient women runners, and fitness-passionate professionals who mirror the changing running culture of Kolkata. Leading the all-women 10K pacers are Roshni Guhathakurta (85-minute bus), a CESC Deputy Manager and mother who overcame bilateral clubfoot surgeries to become a marathon/ultra-runner; entrepreneur Chanda Ahuja (75-minute bus), Chandagini founder and mother of two; and ophthalmologist Dr Saswati Biswas (60-minute bus). For the 25K, Kolkata's Manpreet Singh paces the 2:00-hour bus as the fastest in the category, New Delhi's Kartikay Pandey (2:05-hour bus) inspires after losing 18 kg in the pandemic to become a podium finisher, while Kargil War veteran Bapai Bhattacharyya (2:40-hour bus), a Comrades Marathon Bronze Medalist, adds grit along with other defence forces pacers. This will be leading participants on December 21, 2025, live on Sony Sports. Vivek Singh, Jt. MD, Procam International, stated that pacing is a selfless act, and as they commemorate the 10th edition of the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata, their pacers embody the event's heart and soul.
