News Desk, News Nation 360 : The 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) was commemorated by Bank of India with enthusiasm on June 21, 2025. Mass Yoga Demonstrations through the Government's Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) were conducted. They were held at all the Zonal Offices, Field General Manager Offices, and other premises throughout the Nation. They were also conducted at the bank's international centres. Bank customers and employees attended in huge numbers. The session for the bank's Head Office at BKC, Mumbai, was conducted by Shri Rajneesh Karnatak, Managing Director & CEO. The Executive Directors, Chief General Managers, General Managers, and the staff members also actively participated. Kanchan Bhosale, a well-known Yoga instructor from Mumbai, took the Yoga Demonstration for the Head Office. Rajneesh Karnatak, Managing Director and CEO, said that Yoga is not only a physical exercise. It is an integrated practice. It enhances mental awareness, physical power, and spiritual development. He added that this event was their means of urging all people to feel the life-changing power of yoga. He also asked all attendees to make Yoga their way of living. He urged them to share this message with their family, friends, colleagues, and clients. He felt that Yoga is an old Indian tradition. It has transcended borders and turned into an international phenomenon. Its significance is not only in physical postures and exercises. It has a profound effect on mental and spiritual health as well. He thanked the Honourable Prime Minister and the Government of India for creating awareness about the advantages of yoga across the globe.
