News Desk, News Nation 360: On April 7, 2026, Oriflame India and Whosthat360 began a month-long North-East Yatra at Lady Keane College in Shillong to encourage young consumers to pursue social marketing as a viable business option. Through interactive beauty experiences, skincare consultations, and product trials at key campuses and shopping centres, the roadshow, which will take place in 13 venues in Northeast and West Bengal in April and May, seeks to engage students and young professionals. The project, which offers a low-risk "second income" option without significant upfront expenditures, capitalises on the growing trend toward flexible income models, according to Edyta Kurek, Senior Vice President of Oriflame. The yatra will proceed to its last leg in Siliguri and Durgapur after making stops in Agartala, Aizawl, Dimapur, and other Assamese places. On May 10, a major closing ceremony will take place in Kolkata. Oriflame is positioning the Northeast as a strategic growth hub for its social selling ecosystem by emphasising high-energy, on-the-ground participation and local network building. Participants are invited to win carefully chosen beauty hampers while investigating the shift from traditional employment to digital entrepreneurship.
