The Assam Cancer Care Foundation Receives CSR Assistance From Bandhan Bank

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The pan-India universal bank Bandhan Bank announced that it has extended its corporate social responsibility (CSR) grant to the Assam Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF), which is a collaboration between Tata Trusts and the Assamese government. Over the following two years, the money will help 17 Assamese districts provide more accessible, cost-effective, and standardised cancer care near patients' homes. Speaking on the occasion, Partha Pratim Sengupta, MD & CEO of Bandhan Bank, stated that to meet the banking and financial needs of the people of Assam, they have about 500 touchpoints. The Bank has given the Assam Cancer Care Foundation a CSR grant to help them overcome the obstacles of cheap healthcare by providing complete cancer care support to impoverished people. They are pleased to collaborate with the Assam Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF), which is essential to the treatment of patients in Assam and the Northeast. This project indicates the dedication of Bandhan Bank towards a healthier and more equitable society. The contribution made by the bank will assist cancer patients during their treatment. It will enhance access to quality healthcare. It will also decrease financial struggle for families. Bandhan Bank has nearly 500 service points in Assam. They have around 15 lakh customers there. The partnership was formalised by signing a Memorandum of Understanding in Guwahati. Pranab Kumar Sarmah, Partha Pratim Sengupta, and Dr (Maj Gen) Jai Prakash Prasad were present. Senior executives of Tata Trusts, ACCF, and Bandhan Bank also attended.
