The Chairman of Coal India Visited Coalfields in the Northeast

News Desk, News Nation 360 : P.M. Prasad, chairman of Coal India, visited North Eastern Coalfields (NEC) in Margherita, Assam, and examined the Tikak and Tirap mine operations. He also met with the heads of the labour unions and evaluated NEC's performance. At Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, NEC, Prasad also attended the "9th Krida Mahotsav" inaugural ceremony. He went on the visit with K. Mere, General Manager, NEC, Executive Director and Technical Secretary to Chairman, and other top NEC management. The CIL corporate office in Kolkata is in charge of NEC's activities.
