The First All-state Police Meet and All-style Karate Championship Will Be Held in 2026 at the West Bengal Dhammika Kai Shito Ryu Karate Association

News Desk, News Nation 360: The first-ever All-State Police Meet & All-Style Karate Championship 2026 has been officially announced by the West Bengal Dhammika Kai Shito Ryu Karate Association (WBDKSRKA). It will be held at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra in Kolkata on August 26 and 27, 2026. The press release, which was approved by the Karate India Organisation (KIO), was made in front of important tournament and leadership figures, such as Association Chairman and former ISI Director Padmashri Dr Bimal Roy, Association Working Presidents Sudipta Bhattacharya and Souvik Bhagat, and Tournament President Amartya Sikdar. Shiladitya Chaudhury, the tournament director, and Sensei Bidhan Mallick, the tournament organiser (secretary, WBDKSRKA & BSF Karate Coach). The state-level championship, which includes Kumite (sparring) and Kata (forms) categories for law enforcement officers, central forces and civilian athletes in Sub-Junior, Cadet, Junior, Senior and Veteran (40+) age brackets, will include special musical performances by the BSF and Kolkata Police Band. Individual and contingent entry submissions are accepted until August 14, 2026.
