SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk. News Nation 360: In the Jagacha neighbourhood of Howrah, the Kalyani Roy Memorial Trust and the Unshani Yubak Brinda Club carried out a major social project on Mother's Day 2026 by giving new clothing to almost 500 impoverished people. The program, which was organised by Subrata Roy in remembrance of his mother, took place in conjunction with the local devotion of Sri Sri Rakshakali Mata and Sri Sri Baba Panchananda, turning a day of private sentiment into a powerful demonstration of humanity. Local residents and club officials lauded Roy for his consistent philanthropic presence and emotional investment in the region, noting that his efforts ensure festive joy reaches the marginalised rather than remaining confined to the privileged. This project strengthened the cooperation between the Unshani Yubak Brinda Club and the trust, which is based on the idea that a mother's blessing serves as life's greatest strength through service to the helpless, as the club gets ready for its historic 75th year of traditional puja next year.
