News Desk, News Nation 360 : Now in its fourteenth year, Utkorshe Arohan Sharad Samman was founded in 2012 to recognise social and cultural excellence through equitable evaluation. At a special occasion in Kolkata, the organisation presented its new logo to commemorate the milestone. The organisers declared that this year as well, Durga Puja committees will receive awards based on crowd control, eco-friendly and social initiatives, overall administration, and idol and mandap artistry. Additionally, the organisers stressed that Utkorshe Arohan's activity is not limited to the two months of celebration. They actively participate in social projects all year long, including building infrastructure in rural schools, giving pupils study aids and notebooks, and illuminating impoverished kids with the power of education. The first round of review starts the day after Mahalaya and lasts till Chaturthi, according to committee member Anupam Majumdar. Twelve pujas in Kolkata are shortlisted at the conclusion of this phase. Eight of them are nominated on Panchami, and Shashthi is the day that the awards are given out. Puja committees must register in advance via the organisation's official Facebook page or website, www.utkorsheaarohan.com, to participate. Prominent figures Madhuchhanda Sen, Arpita Pradhan, Subrata Gangopadhyay, and Bimal Kundu are on this year's panel of judges.
