SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360: Acropolis Mall organised Van Mahotsav 2026 from July 1 to July 10, 2026, as part of a cooperative green initiative with curation partner Daali and sustainability partner World Trade Centre Salt Lake, transforming its urban retail space into a bustling eco-destination to promote biophilic urban living and conservation awareness. The immersive exhibition honoured India's National Forest Week, which was started by K.M. Munshi. It included a large display of exotic foliage and flowering plants in addition to significant interactive features like the Living Forest Lungs Installation, which consists of more than 700 live vertical garden plants, and a Living Pledge Tree, where families used specialised seed pens to record eco-commitments on plantable seed paper. In order to encourage grassroots climate stewardship, the environmental festival actively engaged visitors through educational quizzes with a forest theme. Young participants received Junior Forest Guardian Certificates and Daali gift bags. Merlin Group Corporate General Manager Subhadip Basu reiterated the retail complex's corporate mission and stressed that the extended ten-day campaign was purposefully created to go beyond a typical seasonal holiday celebration, effectively sparking approachable everyday conservation conversations and providing urban communities with the useful information required to protect local biodiversity and foster enduring environmental responsibility.
