West Bengal Garment Manufacturers & Dealers Association's 59th Garment Buyers & Sellers Meet and B2B Expo

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The 59th Garment Meet and B2B Expo, which will take place over three days from January 5–7, 2026, in Science City, Kolkata, in an area of two lac square feet, will bring the West Bengal garment industry to life. The West Bengal Garment Manufacturers and Dealers Association (WBGMDA), which has played a crucial role in the sector for 61 years, is organising this event, which is anticipated to generate substantial commercial opportunities. This 59th Garment Buyers & Sellers Meet & B2B Expo is expected to generate commercial dealings worth approximately Rs. 1500 crore in the wholesale market, with over 1000 national and international brands showcasing a wide selection of readymade garments for kids, men, and

women. The State Government's attendance, along with significant businesspeople and corporate houses, highlighted the event's importance for the state's economy and the importance of the Association's efforts to strengthen it. Along with prominent individuals like Hari Kishan Rathi, President of WBGMDA; Vijay Kariwala, Senior Vice President of WBGMDA; Pradeep Murarka, Vice President of WBGMDA; Devendra Baid, Hon. Secretary; and Manish Agarwal, Executive Committee member of WBGMDA, among many others, the event was inaugurated by Sujit Bose, Minister of State for Fire, Government of West Bengal.
