SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360: On Saturday, June 20, 2026, World Peace University (WPU) Goa held its Open House, bringing together educators, parents, and prospective students to discuss how higher education is changing in a time of tremendous technological advancement and artificial intelligence. WPU Goa's transdisciplinary educational paradigm, which aims to go beyond the conventional academic cycle of preparing students only for their first job and instead focuses on developing long-term curiosity, resilience, and lifetime learning capabilities, was a major topic of discussion. Dr Ashish Bharadwaj, Pro Vice Chancellor of WPU Goa, spoke to the audience and stressed that the future is for adaptable people who can integrate complex concepts across fields, learn continuously, and easily adjust to a variety of career transitions and unanticipated market prospects. As industry demands change more quickly than ever, the event examined how typical academic single-discipline cycles are failing and how institutions urgently need to prepare students for developing, unpredictable professions rather than established, static vocations. The university emphasised its current career-forward academic portfolio, which includes a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Bachelor of Management Studies (Hons.), B.Des. in Integrated Product Design, B.Des. in Communication Design, and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Psychology, reiterating its dedication to striking a balance between deep disciplinary expertise and adaptable cross-domain thinking to solve real-world challenges.
