News Desk, News Nation 360: Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City (Hyderabad) organised a media briefing at the Kolkata Press Club to present the next-gen oncology capabilities, with a focus on the clinical application of cutting-edge MR/Linac technology to deliver highly personalised and adaptive radiation therapy. Radiation Oncology Senior Consultant & Clinical Director Dr M. Suneetha, along with Marketing AGM Sanjay Bhattacharya and Assistant Manager Sagar Mukherjee, spoke about how MR-LINAC (Magnetic Resonance Linear Accelerator) combines high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging with precise beam delivery to enable radiation oncologists to observe soft-tissue anatomy, track everyday tumour shifts and adapt dose distribution to spare sensitive organs during treatment. Reaffirming the quaternary multidisciplinary infrastructure of the hospital across surgical, medical, robotic and transplant oncology, they emphasised the organisation’s continued expansion of technology-enabled precision cancer care to patients in India.
