Young Entrepreneurs Are Inspired by Sharan Hegde at "Made in JIS – Celebrity Edition 2026"

News Desk, News Nation 360: Made in JIS – Celebrity Edition 2026' was held by the JIS Entrepreneurship Incubation Centre at Austin Tower in New Town, Kolkata. Sharan Hegde, the founder and CEO of The 1% Club and creator of personal finance, was joined by business executives such as former Ericsson VP Amitabh Ray, GTPL KCBPL Director Ankit Agarwal, JIS Group Director Sardar Simarpreet Singh and Corporate Relations Director Jaspreet Kaur. Speaking to prospective student entrepreneurs, Hegde described how he went from creating digital content for a community of 7 million followers to starting a venture-backed edtech company. Notably, he became the first finfluencer-led organisation in India to obtain official SEBI registrations as an Investment Advisor and Research Analyst. The project, which serves as the incubation centre's main yearly event, connects students with venture mentors, incubation support, and useful frameworks for growing creator-led digital businesses in an effort to unite academics and industry.
