News Desk, News Nation 360 : One of the top private life insurers in India, Bajaj Allianz Life, has announced the opening of its newest New Fund Offer (NFO), the Bajaj Allianz Life BSE 500 Enhanced Value 50 Index Fund, which will only be available through its Unit Linked Insurance Plans (ULIPs). In addition to offering clients life insurance cover, the fund is intended to generate capital appreciation through investments in stocks that are included in the BSE 500 Enhanced Value 50 Index. The Bajaj Allianz Life BSE 500 Enhanced Value 50 Index Fund applies a fund selection model based on three fundamental financial ratios to select undervalued opportunities: the Book-to-Price Ratio, Earnings-to-Price Ratio, and Sales-to-Price Ratio. Book-to-Price Ratio shows a firm's solid asset base in relation to the market price; Earnings-to-Price Ratio shows solid earnings capability in relation to valuation; and Sales-to-Price Ratio shows solid revenue generation in relation to market capitalisation. This multi-aspect method provides well-rounded valuation analysis through the coverage of assets, profitability, and revenue without depending on one particular measure. The fund is passively managed to replicate the BSE 500 Enhanced Value 50 Index, which is quarterly updated to reflect market trends and information, providing investors with structured, long-term access to high-potential value stocks with low active management risk. It is ideal for investors looking for long-term capital growth who are willing to take high risk and prefer systematic rule-based investing. Bajaj Allianz Life ULIP policies that have this fund as the underlying asset give policyholders life cover protection along with wealth generation possibilities. Historically, the index has provided better medium to long-term returns than wider market-cap indices, though historical performance is no guarantee of future performance. Speaking on the launch of the new fund, Srinivas Rao Ravuri, Chief Investment Officer, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, stated that a methodical approach to value investing, which has traditionally rewarded perseverance and sustained dedication, is provided to investors by the Bajaj Allianz Life BSE 500 Enhanced Value 50 Index Fund. By methodically investing in businesses with appealing prices in the large, mid, and small-cap sectors, the fund offers a balanced risk-reward profile and diversified equity exposure. They think this strategy can significantly contribute to investors' long-term, sustainable wealth accumulation.
