News Desk, News Nation 360: As part of its corporate social responsibility activities, Bandhan Bank has donated a fully equipped Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance to the historic Dakshineswar Kali Temple in Kolkata, West Bengal, to enhance emergency medical preparedness and critical care response capabilities for pilgrims, visitors, and surrounding local communities. The emergency vehicle was formally handed over by Mr. Partha Pratim Sengupta, MD & CEO of Bandhan Bank, and Mr. Ratan Kumar Kesh, ED & COO, to Mr. Kushal Chowdhury, Chairman, Settlor, and Convenor of the Lokamata Rani Rashmoni Foundation, Dakshineswar, and Trustee Member Ms. Joyiti Choudhury, in the presence of bank executives and temple committee representatives; it marks a milestone in Bandhan Bank’s nationwide CSR campaign to deploy 24 ALS ambulances across India, said Mr. Sengupta, adding that partnering with culturally revered and high-footfall pilgrimage shrines is a reflection of the bank’s commitment to public health resilience, in addition to welfare programs that have impacted over 29.62 lakh families across 84 districts in 22 states and union territories through targeted rural healthcare, female empowerment, education, and climate resilience interventions.
