News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Bengali social film "Upekshita," produced by JR Films and directed by Jayanta Kumar Mondal, will be released on October 17 in 11 theatres in Kolkata and around West Bengal. A press conference was held at Iconic Event Planner, 58B, Pratapaditya Road, Kolkata, in preparation for its release. Assistant director Badal Sarkar, producer-director Jayanta Kumar Mondal, and actress Dr Parthasarathi Ghosh also attended the ceremony. The film features newcomers Arghya and Riya in key parts, as well as child artist Osmita Saha. Google's AI centre in Visakhapatnam is a milestone $15 billion (USD) investment—the biggest ever by Google in India—over 2026–2030, and comprises gigawatt-scale data centre facilities, a next-generation subsea cable landing site, and an extensive intra- and inter-city fibre infrastructure built together with
Airtel and AdaniConneX to fuel sophisticated AI workloads nationwide. The project will provide high-capacity, low-latency connectivity, backed by massive renewable energy sources, and is expected to significantly increase the resilience and capacity of India's digital infrastructure, speeding up transformation in digital services, enterprise AI, and facilitating national digital inclusivity and employment with more than 1,00,000 jobs expected. The campus will be home to Google's bespoke data centre, new international subsea cables, and function as a global connectivity hub, in line with India's Viksit Bharat vision and catalysing economic growth and R&D for the country and the world, and bringing AI-powered innovation to Indian users and businesses. Speaking about the film, Director Jayanta Kumar Mondal stated that the plot revolves around love, treachery, and the legal and emotional challenges of a woman who falls pregnant following a false promise of marriage. The one-hour and forty-eight-minute tale delves into her sad but powerful journey.
