News Desk, News Nation 360 : A spectacular Durga Puja event with the colourful theme "Tobuo Tomar Kache Aamar Hridoy" will mark Bhowanipur 75 Palli's Diamond Jubilee year. One of the most beloved puja committees in South Kolkata is celebrating a major turning point in its history this year, which reflects the city's enduring spirit and changing culture. Renowned artist Shivshankar Das created the themed party, which will include a mandap that uses eco-friendly materials like asbestos sheets and iron to create a rustic look. Intricate idol design by internationally recognised artist Sanatan Dinda completes the artistic vision, guaranteeing a fusion of tradition and contemporary. Along with the lavish festivities, Bhowanipur 75 Palli values social responsibility. A percentage of the donations made during Durga Puja go towards different annual charity projects.
Free health examinations, educational campaigns on socioeconomic concerns, and blood, body, and eye donation drives are some of these initiatives. To further demonstrate its commitment to community welfare, the committee also gives away clothing to the impoverished and educational packages to youngsters in need. Speaking to the media, Subir Das, Club Secretary stated that this year's Diamond Jubilee celebration of Bhowanipur 75 Palli serves as a reminder of the rich cultural legacy that unites the community. Their theme, "Tobuo Tomar Kache Aamar Hridoy," eloquently expresses how much they adore Kolkata, a city that has seen numerous changes but still holds a special place in the hearts. This year, they want to highlight how Kolkata keeps evolving while being loyal to its history by fusing modernism and tradition. With the help of Shivshankar Das and Sanatan Dinda's artistic talent, they want to create an immersive experience that makes each visitor feel like they are back in the cherished city.
