SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360: On July 28, 2026, Chaudhury & Company, sponsored by Emami Healthy & Tasty, began their gourmet food festival "Ilish-Chingri Utsav," honouring the strong emotional bond Bengalis have with monsoon cuisine. The event, which is led by its proprietors, Shiladitya Chaudhury and Debaditya Chaudhury, is inspired by the sophisticated culinary legacy of Thakur Bari, the famous home of Rabindranath Tagore, as well as a great deal of historical cookbook research. Available for dine-in and online delivery at an estimated cost of ₹1400 plus taxes for two, the menu revives treasured heirloom preparations while respecting traditional cooking techniques—featuring Ilish specialties such as Ilish Roast, Ilish Tramfrado, Narkel Dudh Diye Ilish, Ilish Malaikari, and Ilish Pulao, alongside Chingri delicacies including Thakur Barir Kumro Chingri, Thakur Barir Narkel Chingri, Doi Chingri, Chingri Pulao, Chingri Machher Raita, and Chingri Jalfrezi.
