News Desk, News Nation 360: The Bharti Airtel Foundation has partnered with the CK-12 Foundation, a nonprofit organisation that operates globally, to incorporate over 45 AI-based teaching tools into TheTeacherApp. This is a free-for-life digital platform that already has over 200,000 educators as users in India. The Teacher App 2.0 was launched on February 23, 2026, in the presence of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The move is all about moving teachers from using digital technologies to having a highly AI-based teaching experience. The new version of the platform has added an “assistive layer” to the day-to-day lives of teachers to reduce the time spent on teaching and offer personalized real-time assistance to teachers in all K-12 subjects and grades. The application is in line with the NEP 2020 and the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision of providing contextual, safe, and relevant content, including over 2,500 hours of training, basic literacy, and a collaborative space called the Teachers’ Lounge. Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Co-Chairman of the Bharti Airtel Foundation, said that the tools allow teachers to spend more time inspiring students and less time on administrative work. The partnership ensures that world-class AI-based technology becomes the new norm for teachers in India, paving the path for an inclusive education system that is ready for the future.
