News Desk, News Nation 360: Tata Power Solaroof, the rooftop solar arm of Tata Power Renewables Energy Limited (TPREL), unveiled its flagship #GharGharSolar campaign in West Bengal ahead of Durga Puja in a bid to achieve distributed rooftop solar installations for 3 lakh residential homes within 3 years to meet rising urban and rural electricity demands. The initiative offers end-to-end solar configurations ranging from 1 kW to 10 kW coupled with central subsidies under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana (which provide financial aid up to ₹78,000 for 3 kW+ systems), complemented by a zero-upfront-investment arrangement (developed with Aerem) that features tailored EMIs and bundled solar asset insurance; bolstering grid resilience, the portfolio includes modular Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) ranging from 5 kWh to 40 kWh for residential premises and 60 kWh to 5 MWh PowerHub units for commercial and industrial users; simultaneously, the company is rolling out its community engagement wing ‘Mera Gaon, Mera Solar’; its footprint in West Bengal encompasses 4,413 installations aggregating 117.17 MWp in addition to a burgeoning clean-mobility footprint encompassing 208 EV public/semi-public charging points and more than 6,380 home chargers.
