SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk, News Nation 360 : With the help of government and community partners, iKure Techsoft Pvt. Ltd. and MSD for Mothers announced the opening of the Women's Health & Maternal Care Initiative at Barajuri Gramme Panchayat, Ghatshila. Through a tech-enabled, community-led approach backed by outreach centres and certified Community Health Workers, or iKure Community Health Activists (iCHAs), the program improves maternal health care. The inaugural ceremony was attended by the Mukhiya (Panchayat Head), Panchayat Sachiv, Sahiyas, members of the Panchayat Samiti, Self-Help Groups (SHGs) of the local area, and Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs). The event was initiated with the symbolic action of the Mukhiya watering a plant, indicating the combined effort of the community towards protecting future generations. This program gives top priority to antenatal and postnatal care in an integrated manner, ensuring early detection and treatment of high-risk pregnancies, covering those with gestational diabetes and sickle cell anaemia, and pushing institutional deliveries. It also enhances the strength of community health systems by building capacities, outreach centres, and by integrating iKure's Wireless Health Incident Monitoring System (WHIMS) platform into an enhanced public-private network of healthcare facilities. Sujay Santra, Founder & CEO, iKure Techsoft Pvt. Ltd stated they created a long-lasting strategy that saves lives and improves community health care by educating frontline staff and facilitating safer pregnancies. They are making sure high-risk moms receive prompt screening, support, and treatment for safe pregnancies in Phase 3.
