Manipal Dhakuria Organised a Walkathon on World Cancer Day

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Stepping Up for Cancer! Hours before the actual morning sun came up, lots of spirited persons participated in the World Cancer Day Walkathon of Manipal Hospital Dhakuria. Colorful cancer-type ribbons tied to these walkers walked under the bright shining lights of the colourful streets of Dhakuria by spreading hope through the walk as a movement with dignity. Walkathon was flagging off dignitaries at Manipal and one cancer survivor and inviting employees, oncologists and neighbourhood people inside the building. The walk started from the hospital campus towards Sangeet Sarani Road, which is near Dhakuria Bridge, then straight on Southern Avenue Road, towards Lake Kalibari took a U-turn, so around Golpark, back to Manipal Hospital Dhakuria. The day began by exercising warmly and ended by firing inspirational words into our oncology experts' ammunition while music and enthusiasm filled the air. Together, the participants vowed for a cancer-free future.
