Nayanta University's launch event emphasized the significance of value-based institutions and the key role of founders in creating a strong institutional culture, underscoring the university's vision to offer a world-class,
multidisciplinary education with deep roots in India's rich social and cultural heritage; with applications to the first cohort opening in February 2025 and classes starting in August 2025, the university's almost 100-acre fully residential campus in Pune is being designed to accommodate a collaborative and experiential learning culture; the event, addressed by leaders in education, civil society, and industry, emphasized the widespread enthusiasm and support for Nayanta's vision to offer an education that is intellectually outstanding as well as socially responsive. Dr. Ranjan Banerjee, CEO of Nayanta Education Foundation, outlined the university’s focus on student-centered education, stating that their goal at Nayanta is to foster personal development and self-awareness.
