Over three days, from February 9 to February 11, 2025, the event will offer a forum for networking and industry breakthroughs. esteemed convention in Kolkata, further demonstrating West Bengal's dedication to promoting innovation and industry. The government is committed to fostering a smooth business climate by supporting the industry through strategic initiatives, such as the recently formed Investment Synergy Committee. The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) arranged a three-day event on the theme of knowledge sharing, networking, and learning innovations in the foundry sector. It was inaugurated by Baba Kalyani, Chairman & Managing Director of Bharat Forge, as the Chief Guest for the event. Dr Shashi Panja, Hon'ble Minister in Charge, Department of Industry, Commerce & Enterprises, and Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, Government of West Bengal, also addressed the gathering, throwing light on the important role foundry sector is playing in the industrial development and economic growth of the country. Other notable leaders present from the IIF were Shri Navneet Agarwal, President of IIF (2024-25), Ravi Sehgal, Past President of IIF, and Vijay Beriwal, Past President of IIF. These leaders focused on progress, sustainable initiatives, and emerging opportunities in the foundry industry.
