Techno India University and NoScope Gaming Bring the National Finals of University Esports Championship 2025 to Kolkata

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Techno India University, in partnership with NoScope Gaming, will host the University Esports Championship (UEC) 2025 National Finals, the most anticipated collegiate esports event, for the first time in Eastern India at Techno India University, Kolkata, from August 3rd to August 5th, 2025. This event will be a groundbreaking celebration of digital innovation, youth culture, and competitive excellence. The second edition of the University Esports Championship (UEC), India's largest ever university-level gaming championship, is reaching its conclusion in Kolkata. The announcement function, conducted at Techno India University, had the presence of Meghdut RoyChowdhury and Abhinandan Mukherjee. UEC exclusively encompasses all leading platforms: PC, Console, Mobile, and VR. More than 20,000 student players from 12 cities

took part in the qualifiers. Now, the top 16 teams will fight it out in the Kolkata finals for a prize pool of ₹7 lakh. The UEC platform is looking to discover quality esports talent, encourage competitive fervour, spot emerging stars, and create a talent pool for international representation. One of the major highlights is National Finals staging the India Finals of the World Tennis Esports Championship (WTEC) in VR; India's top tennis esports player will compete on behalf of Team India at the WTEC Global Finals in Las Vegas, USA, on September 10, 2025, with a reward of $100,000 and reimbursed expenses. Event features include the UEC 2025 National Finals on four modes, the WTEC India Finals in VR, a Technology & Gaming Expo with product launches and demos, panel discussions and fireside sessions with industry thought leaders on esports, AI, and careers in future tech, a Cosplay Showcase & Fan Zones for esports fandom, and Live Streaming & Digital Engagement Booths for countrywide reach. Meghdut RoyChowdhury, Chief Innovation Officer, Techno India University, stated that they are ecstatic to be a part of this momentous esports event for India by partnering with NoScope Gaming.
