News Desk, News Nation 360: Recently, at Birendra Mancha in Shyampukur, near Shyambazar in Kolkata, a cultural event involving dance, music, and film shows was organised to celebrate International Women’s Day. This event, titled ‘Cholo Dekha Jak,’ was conducted by the cultural organisation Sarasani. However, the most prominent feature of the event was the screening of the short films in the ‘Atyantar’ movie. Indrani Gupta and Imon Mukherjee, the lead organisers,


emphasised the innumerable contributions made by women in our lives. This event saw the presence of many prominent guests, including Ananda Mitra, Sourish Chowdhury (Head of Light and Sound), Sanjay Roy (Chief Official Hindu Satkar Samity), actor Phalguni Chatterjee, social worker Ritwik Jaiswal, renowned journalist Apurba Chatterjee, and renowned music director Mallar Ghosh. Overall, it was an interesting event that left an impression on the audience.
