Anwesshaa's New Songs "Jhoome Re Phaagun' and "Chupi Chupi" Were Released

News Desk, News Nation 360: Commemorating the tradition of Bengali festive non-film releases in the run-up to Durga Puja, music composer duo Shiladitya-Som and acclaimed playback singer Anwesshaa present two contrasting festive tracks: Chupi Chupi and Jhoome Re Phaagun, unveiled at Chapter 2 in Kolkata amidst Surinder Singh, Founder of Surinder Films, lyricist Soham Majumdar, and the creative cast and crew. Surinder Music launched the reflective, nostalgic ballad about unspoken romance, autumnal memories and emotional yearning, which accompanies a music video by Sumit Mondal with a stellar cast of Poonam Basak and Soumitra Bose, while, in sharp, vibrant contrast, TOSS Music released Jhoome Re Phaagun, combining raw, earthy folk textures from Bengal and Assam with modern electronic beats in a spirited festive video directed by Jeet Chakraborty with Anwesshaa herself, with the composer duo pointing to the two companion tracks capturing the twin souls of Puja music: contemplative nostalgia and infectious community celebration.
