News Desk, News Nation 360: Platform 8, one of the leading regional Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming service providers in Bengal, is all set to release the newest five-episode comedy web series “Phoolsajya” on the company’s OTT platform, directed by Aritra Karmakar and written by Ayan Chakraborty. The show revolves around the newly married couple’s comedic journey, where the excited yet nervous Sanatan and Indrani find their romantic night getting repeatedly disrupted by the trials of urban rented accommodation and mischievous interference from the god of love Kamadeva through a realtor’s mask. Starring Bimal Giri and Soumi Banerjee, the ensemble includes Parthasarathi Chakraborty, Sangita Ghosh, Subhasish Banerjee, Chaitali Chakraborty, Samir Kundu, and Debpratim Dasgupta. Also, the Platform 8 Director Priyanka Bardia and writer Ayan Chakraborty assert that the show’s blend of farcical humour and realistic aspects of relationships’ trials and tribulations, along with an exploration of love, makes it a fun-filled web series.
