The Bengali Feature Film "Pakhir Basa" Will Shortly Be Released

News Desk, News Nation 360: Produced and presented by Srija Films, Pakhir Basa is a moving film which has been written and directed by Somnath Sen. Pakhir Basa revolves around the plight of an elderly man, Manomoy (played by Biswajit Chowdhury), and woman, Paroma (played by Papiya Adhikari), who have been facing emotional neglect as well as mistreatment at the hands of their own married children despite having served them all through their life. Whereas Manomoy has been facing humiliation from his son, Hriday, and daughter-in-law, Jui, finding solace in the form of his adopted son, Gopal, Paroma leads an isolated life, being taken care of by her loyal maid, Mallikdi. Meeting each other, both of them develop a companionate relationship, questioning whether they can leave their past behind to start a new life with each other. This film stars many other actors, such as Moubani Sorcar, Kanyakumari, Mousumi Bhattacharya, Bodhisattva Mazumdar, Santana Bose, Dipanjan Bhattacharya (Jack), Sharmistha Mukherjee, Aviraj and Deb Mondal.
