News Desk, News Nation 360 : In April 2023, the Ascensive Edu Skill Foundation and Genius Foundation, an initiative of Genius Consultant Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish market linkage and entrepreneurial development for the Chhau Mask Artisan in Charida, Purulia. The project's main goal is to create both domestic and international market links so that artisans can train future business owners and instill the notion of operating as a team. Ascensive Edu Skill Foundation received funding from the Genius Foundation to carry out the initiative.The Padma Sri Award 2024 winner and well-known Chhau dancer and master craftsman Goutam Sutradhar, son of the late Nepal Chandra Sutradhar, R. P. Yadav, Chairman & Managing Director, Genius Consultants Limited, Rashmi Yadav K, Director of Genius Consultants Limited, and Abhijit Chatterjee, Chairman of Ascensive Group of Companies, were present at the event. Among the
notable individuals are Kaushik Majumdar, CEO of Genius Consultants Limited; Prabir Chakraborty, DGM of Genius Consultants Limited; Shaon Sen, Additional Secretary, Department of Labour, Government of West Bengal; and Sudharshan Das, Assistant Director (H), Office of DC Handicraft, Ministry of Textile, Government of India. Other Chhau Masks Artists attended the event as well. Everyone expressed sincere gratitude for the work that the Ascensive Edu Skill Foundation did, with substantial assistance from the Genius Foundation. Additionally, they asked for more of these kinds of events, which will undoubtedly improve the artisans' standard of living. The Ascensive Edu Skill Foundation has trained nearly 200 Chhau Mask Artisans in market linking and entrepreneurship development over the past year. One of the workshops organised by Ascensive Edu Skill Foundation was titled "Modern Packaging Technique and On-Boarding in the Ecommerce Platform, like Flipkart." A group of knowledgeable instructors delivered the entire programme. In front of the BDO, Baghmundi, each Artisan received a certificate upon completion of the training.
