The Save Indian Football Foundation Held a Special General Meeting at the Ramakrishna Mission in Narendrapur

News Desk, News Nation 360: The Save Indian Football Foundation held a special general meeting at Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya to chalk out a strategy for scouting and training future footballers with an eye on the 2036 Olympics and 2038 World Cup. The meeting was attended by former Indian Women's National team captain Kuntala Ghosh Dastidar along with Headmaster Swami Ishteshananda, Sports Coordinators Swami Tatparanananda and Swami Dibyeshwarananda, Sports Department Joint Secretary Saikat Mondal and physical education educationist Dibyendu Dey. A proposal was presented to take up the responsibility of scouting and training footballers in the hinterlands of panchayats and suburbs for the development of Indian football in consultation with Ramakrishna Mission. Ghosh Dastidar felt that football development in India is not confined to cities and metros and stressed the need for scientific training, modern pitches and a proper scouting setup at various levels. The idea would be to focus on the Ramakrishna Mission's ideals of imparting education, instilling discipline and inculcating character amongst the budding footballers.
